Funeral Celebrancy Training

What you will learn

Students will emerge from the Funeral Celebrancy course with the skills to create and perform personalized funerals, memorials and celebration of life ceremonies for clients of all beliefs and backgrounds, and pet funerals, and community grief ceremonies and rituals.  

In this course, students will study

• Funeral ceremony structure
• Eulogy writing
• Personalized funerals
• Funerals for difficult/traumatic deaths
• Ceremonies for disposition of the body
• Client relations and family interviewing
• Ceremony prep & performance, marketing

Important Course Information

• Classes meet live-online, weekly for 90 minutes
• Classes are held at 5:00 pm Pacific; 6:00 pm Mountain; 7:00 pm Central; and 8:00 pm Eastern
• Fall Certification Courses starts the week of October 11, 2026 and meet for 8 weeks

Aligning with NTI’s core values of accessibility, inclusivity and community nurturance we offer our Celebrant training program on a sliding scale:

$900 US Regular Fee (the actual cost to provide the training)

$1000 US Pay it Forward (the cost of the training plus extra funds to help us offer supported access to the training)

Supported Fee for Canadians (Canadians are invited to request a Canadian Coupon that provides a 10% discount to offset some of the US-CAN exchange rate)
